African-americansOne of the major groups in the African-American Civil Rights Movements were, of course, the African-Americans themselves. They were the one who decided to fight for equality in America. They fought and struggled not just by themselves, but as a group.

With his single phrase "I have a dream", it described King's dream of an America that has freedom, equality and justice from a country that consisted of slavery and hatred. the white populationThe whole white population in America, particularly in the South, has been discriminating the African-Americans since the 17th Century. The African Americans were chained by the whites, but they decided to take no more discrimination. This struggle for freedom lead to the civil rights movement.
